Residential Landscape
Putting Life into the Foundation Planting
A typical look for mid-20th-century landscaping, large yews (Taxus capitata) surrounded the base of the house. The very stale landscape was removed and replaced with a selection of native perennial plants and bushes, taking it from “that was so last century” to modern times. While a little wild, the variation throughout the season is enjoyed by the homeowners and pollinators.
